Swastika is an auspicious symbol, which is being used since times immemorial. Swastika literally means “existence of the benefic powers”. Made out of brass, it should be placed on the main door facing outward because it removes the house from evil eyes, brings prosperity, good fortune, eliminate obstacles and bless the occupants with body, mind and spirit balance. The sign plays an important role in Vasthu Sastra as it represents all the auspicious powers of the world. The use of Swastika in our homes helps us to live a holistic life, in harmony with our immediate surroundings and ultimately with the energy flow of the universe.
